Verona ⭐️⭐️
⛺️ Camping Castel San Pietro – very cosy & trendy camping – loved it 😍. Definetly chose this camping if you are able to. It is located very close to the city center but it is quietly surrounded by nature. This camping is like the most ´trendy´ one that we saw during our roadtrip. With trendy i don´t mean classy but more in a chill & laid back atmosphere. A camping of our generation that is basic but looks great & cosy. There is also a little coffee cafee in the camping where you can order an iced coffee or something else. If you don´t feel like heading out to the center you can also order something small to eat there. They also sell some snacks, bread, eggs, drinks and charcuterie.
🫶 Chose Verona over Venice to avoid tourist crowds. Verona is a little cosy city that exists out of small shops and many restaurants to chose out. Just walk through the city and enjoy the atmosphere. Go for a walk in the afternoon and head to a cosy place to have an apetiser – I assure you – it´s the best thing to do.

Milano ⭐️⭐️
🏛️ Discover the Cathedral + the shops 🛍️🤪 Just walk around in the center – lovely but can be crowded. You really notice that this is a big city compared to the others and therefore touristic.
☕️ Delicious brunch menu @ofelemilano known for their pancakes & different preperation methods (glutten free & vegan) Located a little bit outside the city center – chose this one based on instagram referrals. In general I always chose brunch spots in new cities based on tags on instagram. ( just go via the instagram searchbar: brunch Milano – several suggestions will be shown. I always look at the pictures of the food on their IG page. If it looks tasty – not to commercial i go for it. Always an adventure but something i really like to do and try out new places.

⛺️Camping La Fornace (cosy camping right by the lake 💦) If you want to be sure about your camping spot – please make a reservation in advance. We arranged the spot just by passing by but therefore we couldn´t have a spot just next to the water. Our spot was located ocross the street but on a camping area that was located higher than the lake so therefore we still had a lovely view from our rooftop tent when waking up in the morning. The camping is very lovely and you can stay there (several) whole day(s)/night(s). It´s very chill and laid back and therefore the ideal camp spot.
🍕Camping La Fornace restaurant (very tasty & cheap pizza’s) In general food & drinks are much cheaper then in the south so buy yourself a cocktail and a pizza & enjoy! 🏃♀️ TIP: go for a morning run across the lake – ideal for exploring the surroundings. You can just start you route heading one way and no chance of getting lost as there is only one way across the the lake that you can take. You can also chose some trail running paths whereby you get more altimeters and make it a little bit heavier ( more for the experiences trail runner ). I always use STRAVA to get running routes in areas that i´m not familiar with. In that case you can chose a route and you know in advance how many km´s you will get, sometimes i also chose to let the adventure come to you and just start and see where i´m heading. I assure you – already experiences all types of situations due to my many runs.
